Victoria Resano-Lopez as one of the founding partners. In 1981, Restituto T. Lopez joined the Firm and was appointed as Managing Partner.  In July 1990, Lopez and Company  merged with Fernandez, Berris & Co. and P. S. Santos & Co. to form Fernandez, Santos & Lopez which became the Philippine member firm of KPMG. In April 1995, Ma. Victoria Lopez reactivated Lopez and Company  to continue the public accounting practice. From 1999 to January 2008, the Firm was a member of Urbach Hacker Young International (UHY), an international association of independent accounting and consulting firms represented in major business centers throughout the world.
